for an easy manicure at home, remove the already coated nail polish from the nails with a good branded nail polish remover. Avoid using acetone on nails; many women use it to remove nail polish because it cheap but it damages the outer layer of the nails so one should invest in a recognized brand's nail polish remover.
After removing the nail polish soak the nails with a mild solution in lukewarm water for 5 minutes. Now you can apply base coat of the nail polish on your nails and then apply the polish. To give the final touch to your nails and to lock the nail seal the nail polish with a transparent coat on it. It keeps the color stay for longer on the nails. When the nail color dries 3/4 th way, then soak the nails in chilled water for few minutes. It will lock the color on the nails for longer time. If the nails have become yellow with the excessive use of nail colors then on should rub the lemon peel on the nails and should leave the juice on them for a while. cuticle is live skin to protect the nails. One should not remove it harshly or just like that. It's the white skin, which we get on our nails around the joint of them with the finger of the skin. It should be push behind gently with the cuticle cutter to avoid any kind of nail and skin injury or infection.
