People who have sweaty hands and feet find it very difficult to live with it. Indeed it’s a very irritable situation. This is caused due to hyperactivity of the glands. This is known as Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating. This can affect the entire body, but usually occurs in the palms, soles, armpits, and/or groin area. Excessive sweating is normal when a person is anxious or has a fever. However, when the condition is chronic, it may signal thyroid problems, low blood sugar, nervous system disorders, or other medical problems.

Sweating Palms:
Sweaty palms are the condition when there is excessive sweating in the palms and it is caused by over activity of sweat gland’s nervous system. Sweaty palm remedies are not that easy as it is a hereditary disease and has no specific age of occurrence. Sweating palms can sometimes occur even due to nervousness and tension but on temporary basisSweating palms is caused because the nervous system gets stimulated and sweating takes place to control the body temperature. This again is considered to be hereditary and not being related to being over weight as all most everybody faces this problem tough some might be at the extreme level. Avoiding hot temperature is a good way to prevent sweaty face and wearing less make up and keeping short length hair normally helps.

Home Remedies:
  • One home remedy for sweaty palms is to reduce your intake of foods rich in iodine. Vegetables to avoid include broccoli, asparagus and white onion. Meats to avoid include beef, liver and turkey.
  • Using an alcohol based hand wipe can temporarily shrink pores and are useful immediately prior to direct social interaction to reduce perspiration. Another home remedy for sweaty palms includes the use of an aluminum chlorohydrate based antiperspirant. Neither deodorant nor baby powders are appropriate means of controlling sweaty palms.
  • A dermatologist recommended home remedy for sweaty palms is to boil a quart of water with five teabags. Once the solution has sufficiently cooled, soak your palms for thirty minutes. The tannic acid in the tea has astringent properties that can act as a natural antiperspirant. Tea bags can also be held in the palm for 10-15 minutes daily to reduce perspiring palms.
  • The benefits of drinking sage tea provide an additional home remedy for sweaty palms. Zinc has also shown promise in lessening both perspiration as well as body odor. The best advice with zinc is to avoid long term use as it may interfere with copper absorption.

Caring the Hands and Feet

It's very important to care about your hands and feet the way you care about your face, skin and hair. No matter how beautiful your face looks, if your hands and feet are dirty or ugly you lose the entire impression.

Keeping yourself beautiful doesn't mean just keeping the face perfect but we should keep all the parts of the body perfect to look perfect. Just a little attention and awareness about hands and feet can make them look equally beautiful as your other features and can impress everybody.

Caring the hands

the skin on hands is soft and tender and loses its moister because hands often come in contact with water in day for washing hands. Women who wash clothes and utensils get their hands contacted with soap, which has soda; their hands become older than the skin of their body. You can make out seeing on the hands that they are losing their moister. So we should apply good hand cream every time we wash our hands. A good moisturizer too can do well. While washing utensils or clothes wear rubber gloves so that the harsh soda in the soaps cannot damage your hand's skin. While sleeping in the night apply moisturizer or hand cream on hands on daily basis. Massage the cream lightly on your hands. A mild scrubber too can be used on hands to remove the dead skin and make the hands softer. Always keep the nails clean and files. It's not necessary to coat them with color always, clean white properly filed nails look equally good and enhance the beauty of the hands.

If the hands have become very hard and the skin is dry, start massaging them with lukewarm olive oil, which will definitely make your hands extra soft and smooth. If the hands have become dry due to winter then you can massage them with olive oil, cold cream or moisturizer and then wear cotton gloves overnight. It will make the skin absorb and soak the cream to retain the lost moister.

Easy manicure, which can be done at home

you can practice this once a week to keep your hands beautiful. Soak the hands in mild soapy water for 5 minutes. Now scrub them with a mild scrubber. If your scrubber is hard then you can add some cleansing milk and apply on your skin. Then soak the hands again for few minutes in water. Get your nails done. Now massage the hands with a light cream and hands are ready to shine.

Few tips to keep hands beautiful- here are few tips to prevent hands from losing moister and keeping them young.

  • Never go out without putting sunscreen on your hands. You might get freckles and patches even on the skin on your hands.
  • If you have already gotten pigmentation on your hands due to sun or if the hands have become dark, you can apply a lemon peel with a little sugar and salt on it. Rub it on the skin and leave for 5 minutes, then wash it off. It will clean the dead skin and will make the hands fairer.
  • Always apply hand cream while going to bed.
  • Don't overuse soap on hands; always use hand wash soaps for washing hands.
  • Once in fifteen days you can put a pack or bleach on your hands to remove the tan they get because of sun.
If you try all this you can make your hands beautiful, soft and younger than you are.

Caring the feet

the skin of the feet is harder than the hands. They get dirtier as we don't wash them as often in a day. Many people do have a problem of getting dry dead skin on the heels of the feet, which at times gets cut and cracks and starts bleeding if no proper care has been taken. So it's essential to pamper the same way you pamper other body parts.

Everyday you should soak feet in lukewarm soapy water for few minutes and then should use the foot scrubber and filer to remove the dead skin from the feet. Then one should apply cream on the feet. Toe nails should always be kept clean and cut in shape the same way one keeps nails of hands if one cant do this practice everyday, one should do it once in a week for sure. In the night one should massage feet with foot cream and should wear cotton soaks for some time so that feet could absorb the cream. Once at a time one should apply pack and bleach on the feet and should give them light massage.

There are pressure points on feet in the center and below the toes. One can pressure those points to relax the feet. Twisting the feet in the front and back to helps them to relax.
If one gets the painful heels then one should apply the medicated creams, which are made for cracked heels to stop them from bleeding and getting worse.

So looking after hands and feet helps them to retain the moister and keeps the skin young.
