Mascara is the highlighter for the eyes. It is used to give the eye make the finishing touch. Its use makes the skin look broader, brighter and eyelashes look thicker and longer. One can use only mascara on the eyes without any other eye make up to make the eyes look softer and natural. Transparent mascara too can be used for a natural look on thick dark eyelashes.
Mascaras are available in various shades these days. They come in black color, browns, blue and transparent. One can choose different colors of mascara for different look as brown make eyes look softer and blue dramatic. For teenage girls blue color look different.
One should buy the mascara from a good brand so that one can avoid any eye infection, which one might get if it enters into the eyes. Before applying the mascara curling the eye lashes is a better option, it will give an upward curve to the lashes and will split the hair so that each hair can get a coat from the mascara and can make eyes look more beautiful and bigger than they naturally are.
One should apply the mascara very carefully with clean hands. After doing eye make, mascara should be applied in the last. One can use one single coat or 2 coats of mascara on the lashes. One should not apply mascara while moving as in car or bus because it might enter into the eyes and cause burning or itching.
One needs to wash the eyes immediately if it enters into the eyes. One should be very carefully while applying mascara as its applied when the entire make up is done and if it gets spoilt one might need to remove the entire make up to remove the mascara.
If a little mascara splits on or below the lashes than one can wipe it off with a moist tissue or cotton.
One can use curlers after applying the mascara to give the eyes a wider look. It makes the eyelashes look longer too. Mascara on upper eyelashes should be applied in upward motion and mascara in a standing position can be applied on downside eyelashes.
One little comb too is available in the market to increase the volume of the eyebrows.
If the liquid of the mascara becomes thick and clumpy then one should change it otherwise it might stick to the eyelashes or can give you an eye infection.
If by any chance while applying the mascara it sticks into the eyelashes one can remove it with the help of baby oil on cotton. One should never sleep without removing the eye make up specially the mascara, as eyes are one of the most sensible parts of the body.
