Hair brushing is a daily need which has to be done in an appropriate way to make hair look good, to manage them and to prevent them from untimely breakage. But first thing before knowing tobrush the hair properly, one needs to choose a right brush for the hair.
Choosing a right hair brush:
- Choose a brush, which have a light rubber or wooden handle to give you a close and tight grip.
- Hair bristles should be made of animal bristles, which have finely rounded tips to give a better brush to the hair.
- Do not buy nylon bristles just to save the money, as they do not brush the hair properly. They tangle the hair because their tips are not evenly formed.
- Bristles must be in a finished equal proposition coated with rubber as a tip. Rubber coating protect the hair from the electricity, which is build up on the dry hair.
Using the hair brush properly:
- Always brush the hair with firm strokes from the roots to the ends of the hair. The massage, which the scalp and hair gets with the brush circulation, is very good in keeping the blood circulation.
- Combing your hair with a wide tooth detangles them and then you can use the hairbrush for better results.
- Brushing hair in equal partitions gives a finished sleek touch to the hair and cleans the dust and dirt from the hair.
- You should divide the hair and should pull the division in one hand then should brush the hair from the scalp till you get the smooth detangled hair.
- If you try to brush your long hair in one stroke, you will break lots of your hair. So do it in partitions, first pull the brush till your chin and then lower to the chin.
- When all hairs are brushed, bend over and stroke the brush from the end of your neck till the top of your head.
- Always wash your brush after the use. If you cant practice this everyday, do it at least once a week. Soak the brush in a mild soapy lukewarm solution for few minutes. Add a few drops of antiseptic liquid to it and then wash. Wipe it off with a cotton napkin.
- Never share your hairbrush with any other person for better hygiene and to protect your hair from any infection.
- Never brush your wet hair because the roots of the hairs are the weakest when they are wet. So brush them when they are at least half dried.
- To set styles with your brush; use your brush and your hand tactfully to get the desired style.
- Do not experiment with anything new with little knowledge rather learn it through some professional expert.
